- Twist and turn to tear the protective foil of the tampon. Remove the torn foil with clean hands.
- Unwind the removal cord and tug at it to ensure that it's securely attached to the tampon.
- Relax and use your index finger to push the tampon into the vagina at an angle pointing towards your tailbone.
- To remove: Pull the string slowly downward and forward to remove the tampon. After removing it, wash your hands. If you can't find the string for any reason, wait for the tampon to be completely soaked. Then squat and push.
