- Sinecod Cough Syrup is frequently used to treat the symptoms of cough in both adults and children, regardless of the cause. Butamirate Dihydrogen Citrate is an active component of Sinecod Syrup. The way Sinecod Syrup functions is by attaching to the brain's cough center. Sinecod syrup uses are versatile. It is an oxomemazine-based cough suppressant that can be used without prescription to calm dry, irritated cough, especially when it occurs in the evening or at night. Sinecod cough syrup can be used for kids to treat bronchitis in children aged 4+. It is suitable for use as a dry cough syrup to treat acute cough of any origin. Butamirate citrate, the active ingredient in Sinecod syrup, belongs to a new class of cough suppressants that act centrally through the receptors in the brainstem. Butamirate citrate has a very beneficial effect as it reduces resistance in the airways by inhibiting bronchospasm and has an anti-inflammatory effect, thereby reducing cough. This active ingredient in Sinecod is what makes it a very effective dry cough syrup.

- If needed, dosage may be repeated after 8 hours, up to 3 times a day.
- Sinecod Syrup Dosage for Adults: 15 ml (22.5 mg) 4 times per day; If needed, it may be repeated after 6 hours, up to 4 times a day.
