- RB IsoFLAV - CR Soy Isoflavone capsule is a dietary supplement used to relieve menopausal symptoms in post-menopausal women. Isoflavones are considered phytoestrogens, meaning that they are similar in structure to the female hormone, estrogen. They have been found to bind to estrogen receptors alpha and beta. Phytoestrogens are nonsteroidal compounds that are plant derived which possess estrogen like biological activity and it has both weak estrogenic and weak anti-estrogenic effects. Isoflavones also have anti-oxidant property which reduces damage caused by free radicals. It is indicated for menopausal symptoms such as irritability, depression and hot flashes.
