- Contrad Swiss ST500™ Topical Gel For Joint Health is a hydrogel containing peptides and hyaluronic acid with a soothing action that helps to limit the physiological degeneration of tendons and muscles, thereby aiding joint movement. The 500 Line of monodoses contains SIGMOLECS® Technology in that it designs scaled molecules that can easily penetrate the skin and enter deep tissue. Sigmolecs® Technology is an advanced chemical profiling through structural assembling of key molecules, mostly proteins and peptides, that form actuated molecules by specifically: Improving their bio-activity in solution and in vivo; Increasing their transmembrane penetration; Creating precise specificity of action, particularly in intracellular signaling. SIGMOLECS® molecules induce signals to key amino acid to trigger specific physiological and metabolic activity. This is done by grafting bioactive peptides or amino acid (AA) sequences onto a source molecule, usually a natural source protein like Soy protein or Collagen peptides. Sigmolecs® molecules are really like microchips carrying the information to program desired relief into the patient. The peptides in ST500TM are SH-Polypeptide 29 which codes for interleukin 3 (IL-3) and SH-Tripeptide 1 which codes for Fibroblast Growth Factor 1 (FGF-1). IL-3 is a potent growth- and differentiation promoting cytokine. IL-3 has been demonstrated to reduce cartilage destruction and the pathological bone resorption that can result from expression of pro-inflammatory signals and matrix metalloproteinases. Additionally, IL-3 has been linked to expression of nerve growth factor (NGF) and its role in wound healing. ST500 can be used for pre and post regenerative treatments.

- Apply the ST500 on the area in need of repair. You can apply an AI500TM patch above the ST500 and/or CR500 patch if you need pain relief. ST500 can be used for pre and post regenerative treatments. Apply the patch to the affected area 2 x week for 2-4 weeks, then 1 x week for 2-4weeks then 1 x month for 2-4 months
- General Tips: Make sure the gel does not contact the adhesive sides of the patch. The patch should remain in situ for a minimum of 2.5 hours and optimally for 6-8 hours. There is no limit, the patients can even remove the patch the next day. It is important to tell patients not to get the patch wet once in place. You can wipe the area with alcohol to ensure a clean dry surface. It is important to apply the patch to clean dry skin.
