- Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel has been developed using scientific recommendations for optimal scar treatment. It is specifically formulated to target red and raised scars, such as those caused by surgery, burns, injuries, or acne. If your scar is new (less than 1 month old but completely closed) by applying Bepanthen Scar Treatment it will help prevent the formation of a red and raised scar by nourishing the damaged skin and reduce scar redness, itching and appearance. In older scars that are already red and raised, the innovative massage roller helps break down the excess collagen which has caused the scar to become red and raised, and the silicone gel will help reduce the redness and itching and form a protective barrier to help lock in moisture. Additionally, silicone gel has been reported to help reduce scar redness, itching, and discomfort. The inclusion of a massage roller in Bepanthen Scar Treatment can provide additional benefits. Massage techniques, when performed gently and consistently, can help improve blood circulation to the scar tissue and promote tissue remodeling. When applied regularly to the affected area, Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel helps to soften and flatten the scar tissue, making it less visible. It also helps to relieve itching and discomfort often associated with scars.

- Take a small amount of Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel on your fingertip or clean hands. Start with a small amount and increase if necessary. Apply Bepanthen® Anti-Scar Gel two times a day. Reapply in case you bath / shower in between or do extensive sports. Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel should be applied for at least 2 months.
- Do not use the massage ball on wounds closed for less than 1 month. Do not detach the massage ball. Use Massage Ball together with the anti-scar gel in wounds closed since more than one month. Use the Massage Ball for gently massaging (use only light pressure) the scar by rolling over it a few times before applying the Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel. This helps to break up collagen fibers.
- Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel is to be used only after the wound has completely closed. In wounds closed since less than one month: Dispense enough (depending on the size of the scar) of Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel, apply it on the scar with your finger leaving a thin layer on the scar and wait for a few minutes.
