In addition, replacing the brown protective cap does not collect dirt and ear wax after the measurement, thereby blocking the sensor area, which can lead to inaccurate measurement results. Fitting a new braun hygiene cap each time ensures that dirt or ear wax doesn’t build up and clog the sensor window, which could lead to inaccurate temperature readings.
