- Oftaial Plus SDU Ophthalmic Solution is a hypotonic ophthalmic solution indicated in case of dry eyes. Due to the high concentration of sodium hyaluronate (0.4%) and the presence of salts such as magnesium to potassium, the product humidifies and lubricates the ocular surface and reduces the risk of instability from the tear film. It contains taurine, the physiologically most abundant amino acid in the tear fluid and tissues of the anterior segment of the eye. Oftaial Plus, although having no pharmacological effect, protects the corneal epithelium from possible damage caused by particular conditions that may cause the onset of dry eye, such as adverse weather and environmental conditions, such as wind, cold, sun, salt water, air conditioning, smoke, smog or particulate matter; particular conditions of ophthalmic stress due to the use of contact lenses or prolonged work at video terminals or microscopes.

- Oftaial Plus should be dosed individually according to your condition and based on your eye doctor’s recommendations. In general, instill 1-2 drops of the solution into the conjunctival sac of each eye when needed, even several times a day. For use on contact lenses: instill one drop onto each lens at the time of application or removal. Repeat if necessary, even several times a day.
- Remove a single vial from the strip. To open the vial, remove the upper tab by twisting it, taking care to place it onto a clean surface to as to reuse it to close the vial again. Instill 1-2 drops of Oftaial Plus into the conjunctival sac of each eye, allowing it to drop from above. Close the vial by inserting the tab immediately after use. For use on contact lenses: instill one drop of Oftaial Plus into the cavity of each lens at the time of application or removal
