- Novaclear Acne Cream With Salicylic Acid For Oily And Acne-Prone Skin is the delicate formula, made with 2% salicylic acid, oil control complex, silica and squalene which works together to visibly reduce the signs of acne. Salicylic Acid gently exfoliates and removes impurities in the skin that lead to breakouts. Salicylic acid is often used as a key ingredient in acne treatments. This is because it helps to unclog pores and remove dead skin cells, two things that can contribute to the development of acne. If you have acne-prone skin, using this product that contains salicylic acid can help to keep your skin clear. Oil Control Complex and Silica effectively regulate sebum secretion. Silica is also an excellent supplement in combating mild to moderate acne. It does so by firstly enhancing collagen production which ensures healthy outer cell layers of the skin which are less likely to get inflamed from the hormonal waste that is connected with acne.
