And because each little sweetener contains only 0.2 calories, Hermesetas Gold allows you to control your life without having to resort to short term diets or going without delicious sweets. Each tablet contains 18 mg Aspartame. Aspartame is a low-calorie sweetener - a substance that tastes sweet but doesn't contain natural sugars or any calories if used in small amounts. The use of this sweeteners in beverages, for example in tea and coffee, associated with a correct oral hygiene program, allows to prevent tooth decay. In the presence of sugar, in fact, the bacteria in the dental enamel give rise to the formation of acids which cause corrosion of the enamel itself and the establishment of caries; hence this sugar substitute tablets helps to prevent tooth decay.
