- Eucerin Sun Pigment Control Tinted Medium SPF50+ is an everyday facial sunscreen for all skin types that helps to prevent sun-induced hyperpigmentation. The Advanced Spectral Technology combines broadband and photostable UVA/UVB filters1 for very high UV protection with Licochalcone A to neutralize free radicals caused by UV and HEVIS light. The anti-pigment sunscreen also includes Glycyrrhetinic Acid which supports skin's own DNA repair mechanism. The color pigments included display a light tint and achieve a dual effect. The formula is further enriched with Thiamidol, an effective and patented ingredient that acts at the root cause of hyperpigmentation. It visibly reduces dark spots over time and, when used regularly, prevents their re-appearance. The Advanced Spectral Technology combines broadband and photostable UVA/UVB filters for high UV protection with Licochalcone A to neutralize free radicals caused by UV and HEVIS light. The sun fluid also includes Glycyrrhetinic Acid which supports skin's own DNA repair mechanism. Licochalcone A's powerful antioxidant properties neutralise free radicals to prevent oxidative stress, thereby protecting the skin from cellular damage. Glycyrrhetinic Acid supports a biological DNA protection and stimulates skin´s own repair mechanisms. This DNA protection is vital as skin has a limited repair capacity and if the repair is insufficient this can lead to severe skin damage even up to skin cancer. These two actives therefore work together in a complimentary way to protect the skin from UV-induced damage.
