- Ego QV Baby Moisturizing Cream is a highly concentrated moisturizing cream to help replenish baby's skin and moisturize dry areas. This moisturizing cream is suitable for daily use and is an ideal choice for sensitive, dry and itchy skin. Proper skin hydration is essential to help relieve many skin conditions caused by dry skin. Formulated with 3 types of moisturising ingredients (Emollient, Humectant and Occludent) to offer rich and complete moisturising to baby’s skin. Ego QV Baby Moisturizing Cream contains Squalane, a component found in the skin’s natural oil, helps seal in the skin’s own moisture. Other featured ingredients includes dimethicone, glycerin, niacinamide and Paraffinum Liquidum. Dimethicone is a silicone that helps to protect the skin by forming a water-repellent barrier against water soluble irritants. Its thick, viscous nature, makes for an excellent barrier on the skin to help prevent chaffing and other forms of skin irritation caused by friction and exposure to water-soluble irritants. This feature of dimethicone to form barrier on skin can help prevent moisture in the skin from evaporating. Another active moisturising ingredient Glycerin, is a humectant, helping to draw and hold water to the skin to maintain hydration. Moisturizing feature of glycerin can produce long-lasting moisturisation on the skin. At high humidity, Glycerin acts as a humectant, while at low humidity it acts as a skin moisturiser and conditioner by inhibiting lipid phase transition. Glycerin has the effect of moisturizing the skin and improves skin texture. It also protects the skin from external stimuli by strengthening its barrier. Additionally, niacinamide helps maintain skin barrier function, as well as moisturising dry skin. Also the final ingredient paraffinum liquidum can bring long lasting rehydration to your dry skin.
