- Ego QV Baby Barrier Cream For Nappy Rash soothes baby’s skin and helps to protect it against nappy rash. Nappy rash is the most common skin condition that can affect your little one during infancy. The soothing, rich formula helps to soothe the delicate skin against nappy rash. It forms a barrier that shields baby’s skin from water, detergents, chemicals and other irritants. The cream is formulated with featured ingredients like Dimethicone, Glycerin, Panthenol and Paraffinum liquidum. Dimethicone is a silicone that helps to protect the skin by forming a water repellent barrier against water soluble irritants. Glycerin is the humectant, helping to draw and hold water to the skin to maintain hydration. Panthenol also known as Pro Vitamin B5, helps to improve skin hydration and reduce water-loss to maintain softness and elasticity. Paraffinum Liquidum also known as Liquid Paraffin, an emollient that helps to reduce moisture loss from the outermost layer of the skin to maintain hydration.
