- Aspen Emla Skin Numbing Topical Anaesthetic Cream can be used for topical anaesthesia of the skin before needle punctures, insertion of IV catheters, blood sampling, mechanical cleansing or debridement of leg ulcers and for minor skin surgery.
- Numbs the surface of the skin for a short time
- Helps to stop pain on the skin temporarily
- Useful for larger areas or where patch is not suitable
- Prevents pain before inserting a needle (e.g. blood sampling)
- Prevents pain during procedures such as vaccinations, cleaning of leg ulcers
- Useful to stop pain related to minor superficial cosmetic procedure e.g. hair removal, tattoo removal
- Use as directed by the Healthcare Professional and always read the label before use.
- Ensure that the skin is clean and dry. Press out sufficient quantity of cream onto the site of the procedure. Do not spread out the cream.
