- It helps to transport the medication via inhalation of the patient to the lungs

- Connect one end of the tubing to the cup and other end to the nebulizer
- Attach the mask to the cup
- Place the mask over the nose and mouth
- Turn on the nebulizer
- Take slow, deep breathes, keeping the nebulizer upright, until all the medicine is gone
