- NewGel+ 24" x 2" Abdomen/Extremity Silicone Strip is designed for use on post-operative incision scars in the abdominal area such as scars from Caesarean-sections (C-Section) and abdominoplasty (tummy-tuck). NewGel+ 24" x 2" Abdomen/Extremity Silicone Strip is the longest strip offered. Developed by doctors for use in hospitals and clinics, NewGel+ Abdomen Strips are specially formulated medical grade silicone gel sheeting, clinically proven to reduce, flatten, fade and smooth scars - both old and new. It is ideal for lengthy scars resulting from tummy tuck, arm lift, mastectomy, orthopedic surgery and body contouring. It can be cut into shorter pieces for multiple scars. NewGel+ beige silicone abdomen strips for scar works through a combination of sealing the scar from exposure, hydration, elevated skin temperature, and constant light pressure, results can be seen in as a little as three weeks. Beige backing is thicker and more durable than clear backing, while clear backing is thinner and more comfortable for the users. However, both are just as effective as the other and contain the same amount of silicone. NewGel+ silicone gel sheeting contains no latex and is made in the USA.

- Begin using NewGel+ when wound has healed, or sutures have been removed. Do not use on any open wound.
- Remove NewGel+ from the package. If needed, cut and trim NewGel+ so that it extends at least ½ inch (1 centimeter) beyond the area to be treated.
- Keep packaging for storage of the product when not in use. Wash and dry the area being treated every time you apply NewGel+.
- Make sure the scar site is free of any creams, lotions, ointments (including NewGel+E ointment). If NewGel+ sheeting comes in contact with creams, lotions, ointment or perfumes, it can lose adhesiveness.
- Peel off the release liner and apply NewGel+, adhesive side down, directly on the area being treated.
- If the NewGel+ sheet, strip or shape becomes dirty or loses its stickiness, it may be washed gently with tap water and mild hand soap then air-dried before reapplying. The brand recommends washing it every 2-3 days.
- NewGel+ should be replaced if it begins to deteriorate, disintegrate, or will not stick.
