- Ambolar 15mg/5 ml Syrup containing Ambroxol Hydrochloride which is a clinically proven systemically active mucolytic agent that makes the sputum thinner and less viscous and therefore more easily removed by coughing. Ambolar breaks up phlegm, used in the treatment of respiratory diseases associated with viscid or excessive mucus.
- Thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) in the nose, windpipe and lungs making it easier to cough out
- Facilitates the removal of the mucus from the airways
- Mucolytic treatment of acute and chronic bronchopulmonary disease associated with impaired formation and transport of mucus
- Suggested dosage for Adults and children over 12 years of age: 10 mL two to three times per day, as required
- Children aged 6 to 12 years: 5 mL two to three times per day, as required
- Children aged 2 to 5 years: 2.5 mL thrice per day, as required
- Children upto 2 years of age: 2.5 mL twice per day, as required under medical advice only
- Recommended to be taken after meals
